Outdoors:
Beardies need opportunities to run. A fenced yard is ideal and recommended. Beardies should not be left free to run outdoors. Off leash heeling is great training but dogs will be dogs. Fences and leashes keep your dog safe.
Indoors:
One beardie can thrive well in any kind of house as long as he gets adequate outdoor exercise. Crates and Xpens will make your life easier as a dog owner if you start training early so that your Beardie sees it as a safe and relaxing place when you can't be with her.
