Celia taught me a lot about dog training when she was young.  She was a strong willed puppy and teaching her to gait on a lead so that she showed off her beautiful movement was no easy task.  We just  couldn't see eye to eye for awhile.  But then things clicked and she began to do well in the show ring when she was 19 months old.   One year from her first point in Williamsburg, VA, she finished with her second major at the same show.  Learning to show a dog in conformation had its ups and downs but in the end, I felt a sense of accomplishment.  With the support of Michele Ritter and other friends, Celia and I earned this together.

Vickie, Celia's daughter,  is just starting out.  She has been to one show so far.   Vickie will be showing again later this year.
